I am a Connecticut- and New York-licensed psychologist providing evidence-based, individualized therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, career, relationship challenges, trauma, and other concerns. With more than a decade of experience, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and humanistic approaches to offer individualized care. I specialize in culturally-responsive and affirming therapy for adolescents and adults. I offer therapy online in CT, NY, and most other states through PsyPact.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes, I currently have a limited number of openings for new clients.
What services do you provide?
I currently offer online (telehealth) individual therapy appointments for teens and adults. I have limited availability for in-person therapy in Manchester, CT. For Westminster School students, I offer in-person therapy on campus.
How much does therapy cost?
The current fee for each therapy session is $275.
Are there any reduced-fee appointments available?
I offer some lower-fee appointment slots. My reduced fee slots are currently full. However, it is important to me to help make mental health care more accessible, so please discuss this possibility with me if you have a financial need.
Do you accept insurance?
I am not currently accepting new clients for in-network therapy services. This means that you would pay directly for any services with me. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, and at your request, I will provide documentation ("superbill") that you can submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider and ask what out-of-network benefits they offer and how you can use them.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointment times are set aside specifically for you, and as a result, I require a 24-hour notice for canceling or rescheduling sessions. You will be responsible for the full fee for late cancellations or missed appointments.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept electronic payments, including credit payments, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) cards.
You are likely to benefit most from therapy when you experience a strong sense of trust, understanding, and collaboration with your therapist. This type of relationship provides a safe and supportive space to open up, explore thoughts and feelings, and work towards your goals. Research shows that a strong therapeutic alliance is associated with better outcomes, increased engagement, and client satisfaction.
Because the therapeutic relationship is crucial, it is important for us both to evaluate if we would be a good fit to work together in therapy. I offer a no-cost consultation to discuss your needs, get a sense of me as a therapist, and determine what might be most helpful for you.
